Cognitive Mirrors — The Science Behind Story Mode
Cognitive Mirrors is EAI's metacognitive scaffolding method, a framework where characters aren't entertainment, they are behavioral models. Each guide represents a distinct cognitive pattern students recognize in themselves: the disciplined thinker, the impulsive innovator, the curious shortcut-seeker. By watching those patterns play out through narrative, students develop the metacognitive training to observe their own AI usage behavior and redirect it.
Abstract rules about AI don't stick with children aged 9–14. Story does.
